Who We Are

Natomas Teachers’ Association represents and advocates on behalf of the classroom teachers,  school counselors, school psychologists, speech pathologists, social workers, and nurses of Natomas Unified School District. We are professionals with a passion for education and social justice.  We wholeheartedly embrace the responsibility to teach the youth of Natomas the 21st century skills they will need to become the leaders of tomorrow. NTA believes that students  benefit most when the teachers in the classroom are valued and recognized for their diverse strengths as educators.

The Natomas Teachers’ Association supports the mission of the California Teachers’ Association which exists to protect and promote the well-being of its members; to improve the conditions of teaching and learning; to advance the cause of free, universal, and quality public education; to ensure that the human dignity and civil rights of all children and youth are protected; and to secure a more just, equitable, and democratic society. We are committed to advancing these principles through community engagement, organizing, collective bargaining, and especially through the work our members do. Remember, we are stronger together!
