| Today, our leadership team engaged directly with NUSD board members and Superintendent Castillo. We made it clear that we need to work together to end this staffing and affordability crisis. NUSD has agreed to return to bargaining tomorrow at 9:30 AM. The first 4 days of this historic strike have proven that our solidarity is unbreakable, and we have only grown stronger. We are winning this fight because we refuse to let them divide us or wait us out. Our team is ready to bargain until we reach a fair agreement. Absent a fair contract we will continue to HOLD THE LINE on Monday. We are determined to win the safe, stable schools our students deserve. We are fueled by the incredible energy of our educators, parents, and students, and we will not back down. Stay tuned for further updates as bargaining progresses. Together, we are changing public education in Natomas! WE WILL WIN! |
