3/12/26 Update: We’re Headed Back to the Bargaining Table Tonight!

Today, together with TRUE, thousands of us walked across the Tower Bridge in a massive display of solidarity in our historic fight for the schools our students deserve. One ABC 10 anchor even noted on air: “I’ve never seen that many marchers come across the bridge for as long as I’ve been here.”
Our NTA/TRUE march was a powerful show of the deep love and commitment we have for our students, our families, and our school communities. Together, we are changing public education in Sacramento!
Superintendent Castillo reached out today, and we are reconvening bargaining. Our team is heading back to the table tonight at 5pm! We are committed to winning a fair agreement that will stabilize our schools and ensure students have access to a qualified educator in every classroom. Check out the bottom of this email for the current status of our bargaining positions.
Tomorrow, we will HOLD THE LINE at AM Picket Lines and continue to show our students and community that we are committed to keeping educators here in Natomas and winning safe and stable schools.
Hour of Power at District Office Once we know what time we will be back at the table after tonight’s session, we hope to call our community together to show support for our bargaining team. We will send out an email and text message as soon as we have details, so you have time to head over.
Together, we will win!
